I design interactive experiences to share my stories and interests, creating art with those who engage with it. Through participation, my pieces are ever-changing and combined reflections of myself and others.
Interactive art involves the viewer in the artwork. It senses a viewer's actions and responds accordingly. I experiment with various sensors that detect, for example, movement, light, or sound, to cause visual, auditory, or physical changes within the work.
The interactive aspect of my projects brings the audience’s attention to their presence and the present as they become aware of their influence within the space. The audience alters the outcome of my work, blurring the boundary between the artist and the participant.
Through technology, I can collaborate asynchronously with the audience, resulting in a creation one could have done alone.
